Founder & CEO
As founder & CEO, Tom leverages 3 years of experience in career development and innovation to drive our vision. With a passion for empowering students, fresh graduates and young professionals, he has mentored and provided career consultations in law, finance, tech and healthcare that have earned young professionals coveted opportunities locally and internationally.
Professionally, he is a rising star in technology law and a PMO Assistant supporting the government of Cape Verde in implementing digital transformation initiatives funded by the World Bank.
Prior to his role, Tom was a research fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy, Washington DC and completed internships at Templars, Banwo & Ighodalo, AELEX, and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) Italy, among others.
He holds a Bachelors of Law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University.
Joy
Business Development Officer (BDO)
As a skilled business development professional, Joy leverages her expertise to forge strategic partnerships and pursue new business opportunities that drive revenue growth and expand our reach and impact. She works closely with partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
In addition to her business development responsibilities, she oversees CareerEx’s training services and community service initiatives, including our mentorship program, discount offers, and career fairs. These initiatives provide valuable support and resources to individuals, helping them achieve their career goals. Prior to this role, Joy worked as Program Coordinator for Polaris Bank and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Diverse Law. She holds a Bachelors of Law degree from Afe Babalola University.

Operations & Client Relations
Gladys is the linchpin at CareerEx, expertly bridging the gap between our clients, career experts, and consultants. As the go-to point of contact for clients, Gladys is dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations by working closely with our team of career experts to ensure that every client receives tailored support and guidance.
